About

Holding Excellence Above Relapse—Together

Founded in 2011, Project H.E.A.R.T. began with a simple yet powerful goal: to offer people in recovery a safe and supportive circle of genuine friendship. What started as a small collaboration between individuals in recovery and local service agencies has grown into a trusted, community-based recovery program rooted in peer mentorship and relational healing.

Our Mission

To provide a safe, supportive environment for individuals navigating life’s most destabilizing challenges.

What We Do

Project H.E.A.R.T. provides a consistent, safe, and uplifting environment where people can reconnect with themselves, others, and their purpose. Our core objective is to surround each individual with a true community of friends—people who lead by example and support each other through recovery and growth.

We focus on:

  • Peer mentorship that fosters accountability and encouragement
  • Group meetings and special events that reinforce connection and healing
  • Community service that builds dignity and responsibility
  • Team-based support to walk with individuals as they rebuild their lives

Our approach is grounded in morality, ethics, legality, and most of all—authentic friendship.

Resources & Referrals

We recognize that healing is multi-faceted. That’s why we maintain an up-to-date list of trusted professional partners for referrals in:

  • Substance abuse treatment
  • Marriage and family counseling
  • Anger management
  • Financial coaching
  • Job readiness and employment support

When someone joins Project H.E.A.R.T., they’re not alone—they’re connected to a network of people and services committed to their success.

Peer Mentorship in Action

Our men’s and women’s teams provide outreach and one-on-one support, helping individuals rebuild broken relationships, restore dignity, and develop the life skills necessary for long-term stability. Whether you’re emerging from addiction, incarceration, or another life-damaging experience, we’re here to walk with you—step by step.
